Sighting Details

We were heading south on the 5 freeway. We noticed a bright light hoovering without any movement. It was just outside of the city of Roseburg, it was located near a farm and field of cows. It was in the open with no other object or light around or near the object. We kept an eye on it while driving on the freeway. we found it strange that it was not moving or acting like any aircraft we seen or use to seeing in the sky. we literally drove underneath the object was hoovering and noticed its lights changing colors and its shape. the object was less then a 2 miles away when we noticed it, it took us 5 mins to reach to location of the hoovering object. Once we pass the object we noticed the object started moving NE-NW-NS-N. I had my boyfriend try to take a picture and every time he tried to take it there was a malfunction with my cell phone leading it to a dead battery. It took us 1 hour to reach our house when usually it only take 30 mins. once we got home, we talked about what we saw and drew pictures of what we saw. Both of us were feeling strange and shocked for what we just witnessed for the first time. A week before we saw the object there was a mysterious black out in our town, according to some towns people there was a car crash on a telephone pole. however, we never found any signs of a car accident or a destroyed electric pole, or the victim of the crash. A week later our town was hit by lighting and the Douglas county complex fire started, same morning we had the city fire department and military in our town aiding with the fire. Since then, we never seen such object again.
