Sighting Details

I was travelling westbound on I-20 in the passenger seat of my friend Jason Mitchell's vehicle towards Ruston from Monroe. We first noticed the light towards the southwest and Jason thought it was a planet, but I felt it was too bright. I was surprised and excited, because of how bright it was. As we got closer to the light, it was more visible as a triangular shape of lights with 3-4 on each side. I don't remember how many total were visible. The lights remained stationary for the entire time it was visible, which was only while we were on the interstate. I can't remember exactly when we lost sight of it. These lights appeared to be located above the city of Ruston. When we got back into town, we went to the Catholic Student Center at Louisiana Tech and told several friends there about the sighting. Several of us got in my friend Jason's car and went back out to I-20 to try and see if it was still there, but by then it had disappeared.
