When I was about 11 my father and I used to take Saturday morning excursions out to the Mojave desert to do some target practicing. It was always in the same location. Off of Interstate 15 at Hodge Rd. just north of Victorville. We would always drive west a few miles off the highway to a remote area where we couldn't see the highway. Back then Victorville was smaller and there was nothing for miles. On this Saturday we decided to drive off a bit further near a rocky hillside. What we found were 3 perfect circles imprinted in the ground in a triangle formation. The circles appeared to be about 30 feet in diameter with a about a 6" deep impression on a slight sloped plain. My father would not allow me to touch the them. From what we could see is that it was either a craft with 3 circle shapes beneath it or there were 3 separate crafts that landed perfectly in a triangle form. If I remember correctly the circles were about 25 feet apart. The impression was kind of angled and had a defined lip. Had to of been a heavy craft or just landed hard into the ground. My dad remembers burnt foliage around there but I dont remember that. Just alot of rocks and hard desert sand. Sure wish we had a camera or a cel phone back then. It's still vivid to me.
