|Object Flight Path||Straight-line path|
Observed horizon to horizon passage of a brighter than normal reddish pink light source. Source moved similar to a low earth orbital craft originating in the southwest moving silently north ending at the horizon to the northwest. Object lost definition three times puffing out to an aspirin sized cloud back lit. These puffs were rapid in creation and dissipation. Object was not a nav beacon as there were no other lights on the craft nor were there any rhythmic attenuations observed. Possible the UFO was a piece of space debris burning up in de-orbit. Conditions was clear cool and dry in Baton Rouge. No clouds were in the vicinity. No sounds we're heard. Speed of object made the lack of sound rather curious. My first thought was that the object was the sis, but it was the wrong color. Oberevation was made at 8:52pm.
