A companion and I were walking east on Burlwood Street in Cedar Hills, from the 45 Central building development site, right about at the intersection of 139th and Burlwood when we saw a light in the sky--it just showed up all of a suddenI took it to be a helicopter with the front windshield lit up by the sun, but it wasnt facing the sun (sun was low and to the South) it was heading Northwest we think, but it was hard to tell because of the way it hovered. A car was pulling out of its driveway, so we stopped and I looked at the car for a second, remarking to my friend that I hadnt noticed the car as I was looking up at the helicopter. My friend said he was looking at the helicopter too. When we both looked back up at the sky, mere seconds laterit was gone. Completely gone. We looked and looked in the sky, thinking it might have been behind some trees, it couldnt have flown away that fast, and it had been too large just not to see it, even if the sun was at the wrong angle etc (we saw a far off jet plane to the east [flying south] quite easily). We never saw it. Talking about this, we realized that we never heard the sounds of a helicopter and had called it that just because we assumed it was a helicopter at first. It was, actually, silent and we never did see more of it than the bright reflective front. We have no idea what it could have been, but it was not a helicopter or a plane.
We were pretty perplexed, and decided to see if we could find anything like it on Google images--but didn't find anything that matched what we saw.
