I got out of car to lock gate. It was quiet with no cars coming in either direction. When I got back in car I noticed two huge lights in my rear view mirror just over the road on other side of locked gate. I thought it was odd cause there hadn't been anything there just seconds earlier and also these lights were much larger than any car lights. I started down the path to my house and these lights (which turned into one gigantic light) started following me. The light was traveling about 15-20' up in the air and over in the field next to road. I was constantly watching my rearview mirror and noticed the light gaining on me. At this time I noticed several small lights on the left side of it. I was thinking, "What the heck is that????" I was getting very scared at that moment and just wanted to get home. About 3/4 mile after I first saw it I noticed that the monstrous light went to just a small light with 1 smaller light next to it and 2 seconds later it vanished. I immediately jumped out of my car and looked around and there was nothing in the sky and there was total silence. I was up on a high hill and can see for miles in all directions. Just as quickly as it had appeared it disappeared. I never heard any sound coming from it either. I have no idea what it was because I could never see anything other than this gigantic light which looked to be the size of a car.
