Sighting Details

Was having coffee on back deck about 9:30 am. My wife thinks she sees a bird (eagle hawk) way up. I can't see it at first, she points to a top branch of a maple and says it has gone behind it and will come out the other side in a second. I see it immediately. It looks like a cloud very small, it is a stretched oval shape, looks 1 inch long and 1/4 inch high. It is moving very fast, there is no trail just this white oval moving very fast, After a couple of seconds I ran inside a grabbed the binoculars. I was able to focus on the object quickly (I was surprised I know from experience how hard it is to train in on such a small object from experience with birds). I was able to view the object for 5 to 10 second before it went behind the other trees. Through the binoculars it was actually split in half horizontally. The halfs were flat in the centre and curved on the other side, like two saucer shapes one above the other the top one upside down. It was not a clearly defined line but fuzzy (cloud like}. It went behind the trees and was gone. My wife ran around the other side of the house but did not see it. I use binoculars a lot and can see the jets clearly through them. We have small airport locally with a parachute club and CFB Greenwood close by and are very familiar with all kinds of aircraft. You name it we have probable seen it. If I had not seen it through binoculars I would probably have dismissed it.
