Watching TV when wife said, "What's that?" and pointed out window. Looked to see a bright reddish-orange light, approx the size of a baby aspirin held at arms length, traveling on a slightly descending path from the from the West/Northwest almost toward us. We got up and went out the front door to observe, no sound was audible. The object seemed to travel somewhat slowly and seemed to be somewhat irregular in path but not dramatically so, perhaps just slightly. We then noticed a 2nd light of the same color in the distance to the North, and the object or light we first spotted seemed to turn Northward and follow it. The 2nd, more Northern light soon faded and disappeared, likely due to entering/passing through the light hazy cloud layer, although it was mostly clear out. Asked the wife to grab her ipad to take video but when held up against the night sky we could not locate the item on the screen. The first object then turned in a more Northern direction following the other light and quickly disappeared from sight. The objects were somewhat star-like in appearance, in that they sort of had that 'twinkling' appearance, but not as much as a regular star. They were reddish-orange in color. The colors and brightness did not change when the object changed directions, it stayed constant. Strangest thing we've ever seen, and feel confident they were not fixed-wing aircraft or helicopters.
