Sighting Details
|
I was traveling home from work on Highway 101 in San Mateo County (heading South), when I noticed in the sky to the Southeast a very strange stationary amber glowing star-like object/light. It looked like and glowed like a star, but it was more yellow/amber than a star and much bigger and closer to earth than a star (but it was definitely miles away). I was pretty dumbfounded and watched this thing for about 10 to 15 seconds (it hovered stationary for that entire time). As I was watching it, it just, "poof" (suddenly) disappeared. Very strange. Definitely not a commercial airplane. I know I can't be the only one who saw it!! |
