Sighting Details

While watching Delta Aqua-rid meteor shower 07/29/14 @ 0034 EST my wife and I observed what looked like a typical satellite moving from south to north. The object stopped abruptly at roughly 90 degrees overhead and suddenly changed direction to the east, from our point of view the distance traveled in the easterly direction was maybe an arms length, the object stopped immediately again and stayed in a stationary position roughly 90 degrees overhead. Withing 10-15 seconds another object slightly dimmer but moving in the same south to northwest direction made a slight curved pass around the stationary object. Within a few minutes after the first observation the stationary object seemed be taking in four small blips light. I finally became tired of staring at the now stationary object and retired for the night. Where we live observing satellites and meteors is almost a nightly occurrence, both objects witnessed did not look like a meteor or act like a satellite.
