My daughter and 2 granddaughters and I were driving north on ST RT 23 when I noticed a pattern of about 12 bright orange lights in the sky. We were right at Cheshire Rd. where Franklin University is. They seemed to make an arch in the sky but then I would say moved into a kind of kite formation. At first I thought they were Christmas lights of some sort ? We pulled off into Franklin University's parking lot and by that time, several of them had disappeared. You could see them flicker and fade out. Closer to the ground you could see more very bright orange lights moving basically in formation with the others. By the time we pulled out and got back onto 23 northbound, there were 4 very distinct lights still lingering. I got out of the car to try and take pictures but the lighting was pretty bright in the parking lot. They made no sound and they were not fireworks or anything like it. My granddaughters (ages 7 and 8) were scared and that's why I didn't watch the rest. My daughter and I agreed that we'd never seen anything like it. We did call our local law enforcement agency and make a report.
