Hampton NH 9:15 pm 10/03/13: I was on the back porch having a cigar smoke, sitting in the lawn chair. Looking into the clear sky, I saw a shooting star, which appeared to be a normal event. As I sat there for a few more minutes looking in the same general area, I saw what appeared to be another shooting star, a small star like white object, fly into the same area - but this was different... Although it was moving quickly, it came into view, from north to south, turned abruptly, zipped back and forth and then sped off in the same initial general direction, southward. It was fast but not as fast as a typical meteor event. The viewing lasted probably five seconds +/-, enough time for for me to say "what the hell is that!" jump to my feet and watch it disappear over the tree line. I have watched the skies my entire life and I have seen many, many meteor events including bolides - but this has me stumped. Meteors, and conventional aircraft do not move like this did.
