Object Flight Path
i was outside with my boyfriend smoking a cigarette facing south. i was looking at the stars and noticed 3 of them that formed a triangle when suddenly i observed one of the "stars" was actually moving. i pointed it out to my boyfriend who also then saw it. we thought it had to be a satallite because it was literally as high as the stars. the point of light at first was just as dim looking as the stars as well. we watched as it traveled, almost gliding, in a southward direction. it then dimmed to almost near impossible to see when all of a sudden it grew brighter and brighter... i mean bright, like it were a spot light. the object itself intensified in brightness. i was almost expecting to see a blinding flash of light or explosion or something, but then just as it gradually grew in brightness it dimmed back down. that is when we could no longer see it. we both were speculating what on earth that could've been. def not a plane. as planes cant possibly travel at such altitudes. def not a satallite... how could a satallite brighten with such intense light. def not a comet due to lack of tail, and def not a meteor because it would have traveled at a much faster speed. we were both pretty excited to come to the conclusion that we most likely just witnessed a ufo.
