I got home around 7 or 7:15 on Christmas eve and was shocked/amazed to see at least three dozen orange-red looking orbs in the sky, appearing from the SW just above the tree line and all of them were ascending up at roughly a 20 or 30 degree angle. All of them were headed in the same direction, though they weren't all going in a perfect row. When each one reached a certain general spot in the sky, the light would quickly fade and disappear. The initial glob was the most impressive point of the 30 minute or so long affair. It slacked off after roughly 5 minutes, only one or two appearing every 10 seconds or so (ONLY lol) until another busier wave .. when you could again see at least a dozen in the sky at once, climbing in altitude until disappearing. It began to slack off after this second wave .. and it became more like a drip .. a few lagging behind every 15-20 seconds .. until it stopped.
That was one of the most incredibly shocking things I've ever witnessed in my life. It just happened about one hour ago. I don't know what to think.
