Sighting Details

We were leaving a NYE party. Driving north on Magnolia st. In Huntington Beach, Ca. I was in the passenger seat and was talking to friends who were in the back. I went to reach behind me to adjust my seatbelt and the orange lights caught my eye. Three stationary orbs were in the sky and they stayed as we continued our drive. All of us in the car saw them. There were a ton of planes in the air that night because the airport had a delay (which we read about the next day) for whatever reason... But the difference between a plane and something you can't explain is obvious. These were not moving... They were closer to the us than planes could be. Had no flashing lights like you see on planes and these were not moving. They were glowing a bright orange color. I was in disbelief at what I was seeing and the rest of the passengers were as well but you kind of try to explain it away. I had posted the sighting as soon as I got home on Facebook and come to find out... Many other party goers from the same party we attended, who had left earlier and later than we did throughout the night.... Saw them also. We saw them. They saw them and we don't know what the hell were looking at. Some people posted that they had to be those paper lanterns people let go of at midnight on NYE... But those would have been in motion. I did not get photos because I didn't want to take my eyes off them. We eventually lost sight of them as we drove farther down the street.
