Object Flight Path
We were driving a little after midnight on Nevada 6E, I believe near Fish Lake, but in any case 12 miles west of the intersection of 6E and 95. I and my companion both observed a streak of light that started as a trace in mid-sky and then suddenly flashed into a ball of very bright blue-white light. As if first a string had appeared and then a yo-yo is another way to describe it. About the size of a fingernail at arm's length, it did not strike us as the right color, speed, or size for a "shooting star." Then everything went black. I.e., the "string" appeared first, then the "ball", then both were visible at the same time at the moment of the bright flash, then instantly both went dark. We're reporting this only in case others saw anything unusual and this would serve as corroboration.
