I was sitting on my front porch listening to music, watching the stars, and planes go by. I was looking due east, glanced away for a moment (5-10 seconds) to the southeast. When I glanced back to the east, there were two lights in the sky above the trees across the street. They almost looked like stars, but the were perfectly round. I realized these were not stars. At this time of night in that location, no stars are visible. They were parallel, with some distance between them. (they weren't light on a plane they were too far apart.) I watched them for a moment and they slowly started to move east by northeast. In unison remaining parallel, they started to blink and disappeared. The blinking wasn't navigation lights, it was the lights themselves. There were planes to the south so I could make a direct comparison.
