Object Flight Path
I was with my family driving out of Las Cruces, NM when my brother spotted a brownish-copper color beam from the lowest cloud to ground level. We all looked and it faded away in about 20-30 seconds. We then got started looking everywhere throughout our entire 2 hour drive across southern new Mexico. We looked every direction, and sure enough, we counted over 40 beams that show down to earth. They appeared in every single direction at different times. After awhile, we noticed that they would ONLY appear as if they were touching the mountains. There is alot of flat area in southern new Mexico, with few mountains far from I-10. They would be perfectly shaped beams too. Absolutely perfect. Arrow straight, all the same color. They were pretty thick looking too. Also there was about 30-40 jet streams in the area. Not jets, but leftover streams from jets that lingered for awhile. When it's humid in the air, the jet streams last a long time. When it's dry, they disintegrate fast. It might be the other way around but I don't think so. You can look it up for yourself. If I'm wrong about the jet paths, sorry. New Mexico air is very dry, and those streams were everywhere... Doesn't make sense. When we drove back 8 days later driving east on I-10, we saw the exact same beams appearing in the sky over the same areas. Only mountains. We drive every year on I-10 around February and this is the only time we saw those beams. I filed a report last night on the sighting we saw out of Deming, NM 2 days ago. I would just like to know what those beams were and why they were there. But the fun of UFO research is the mystery and questions, right? Anyways, it was definitely not normal.
