Object Flight Path
My mum and I were driving north on the New Jersey Turnpike at 9:30 at night. We were approaching exit 8 near Rossmoor and Monroe township when I, sitting in the passenger seat, noticed what appeared to be a bright blue-white star rapidly descend from the sky and disappear a moment later. Immediately I asked her if she saw that to which she replied "Yes. I did't want to say anything because I thought it may have been a streetlight or something." It clearly was not a streetlight as it was well above the earth. The star-like shape was about 50-60 degrees above the horizon facing north. When it disappeared, it did not dip down to the horizon it simply disappeared at about 30-45 degrees. There were no clouds in the area. All this happened within a second or so. We both ruled out a shooting star since it did not leave a tail of any sorts and it was too bright and too fast to be any kind of airplane, commercial or military. Also, if it was an airplane it would have continued to descend until it flew over the horizon. The only conclusion I can make is that it is indeed a UFO. It is unidentified. It is flying. And it is an object. Alien or not who knows. I just hope other motorists may have witnessed the same thing.
