Sighting Details

I was out on the balcony enjoying the fresh air and the hundreds of stars above. Then I see one of those stars move towards the west and it slowed down and as it was slowing down, it was fading. To the point that it was difficult to see it. Suddenly it changed its course heading south and vanished without a trace. At first I thought it was just a satellite or a plane at a very high altitude. But then I thought that planes usually have blinking lights and they don't slow down, fade and suddenly change directions. Same goes with satellites. But that thing didn't blink, it was as bright as a star then it faded, changed course and disappeared. It's not the first time I see that this year, witnessed a similar event the 11th of August. My dad that night also saw two star-like objects flying side by side then they disappeared. July and August are very "active" here for such events.
