My husband was driving our car towards Nacogdoches from our home, about six miles west from the sighting. We had left the house around 6:30 for a 7:00 movie in town. The drive takes about 17 minutes. I was a passenger in the front seat. I noticed a red flashing light to my right (South) as we neared a known natural gas well sight, about six minutes from our home off FM 343. I kept my eyes on the object, noticing it didn't move. I remember the outside lights were not on, like usual. He kept driving since we were heading into town for a movie. The disc-like object had a red light that slowly moved back and forth at the bottom. My husband said it was probably a tower. I kept my eyes on it until we had driven too far and it was no longer in sight. After several days, I finally went by the home located near by and asked the owner about what had happened. She was out of town that night and said there was no tower. I did not notice any burning around the natural gas well. I was unable to take a photo because I didn't want to stop looking at it long enough to fumble around in my purse for a cellphone with lower quality photo capabilities. I was mostly frustrated because my husband wouldn't stop the car so I could get a better look at it.
