at around 7:00 Pm on a very clear night, with no moon. I went outside to take care of animals and observed a pulsing orange light hovering in the sky to the south east of my position. it was just above the constellation Orion at the time and i almost dismissed it as a star. however i felt compelled to watch it, so i remained motionless and observed it as it seemed to drop for a few seconds, then return to its original position. it then began flying in a north-west direction wobbling as it did. eventually it flew directly over my house, still moving from side to side and kept going. i attempted to capture it with my camera but when i tried, there was nothing on the screen and it died on new batteries. i watched it for a few more minutes until it dispelled what looked like a glowing blue mist, then disappeared completely. i then resumed what i was doing before, until i heard what sounded like a fighter jet flying nearby. im not sure what i saw, but it wasn't a drone, or plane, im all to familiar with the marker light set-up on a plane.
