back in 1983 in guessing.around 4 4:30 am,me and a friend were riding our bmx bikes dont remember if we were starting our route or finishing our route.but we seen what we thought was a shooting star.followed it across the sky from east to west.and out of nowhere this ball of fire comes down slowly right behind my house in this open field area in the woods.it was a huge ball of fire just hovering over the trees.it stayed there for what seemed like 15 minutes or so,then slowly starting moving straight up and then shot off at an amazing speed and was gone...my older neibhor was driving by at the time.stoped and wathced it with us.so 3 of us seen it.i to this day have no idea what i saw,and think that people think im crazy when i bring it up.
