At approximately 9:30 PM Eastern Time I got into my hot tub on my deck outside my house. As I usually do, I observed the stars and was staring into the constellation Cassiopeia. At approximately 9:40 I saw two bright flashes about midway in the constellation. The light was brighter than the brightest star in the constellation by about 2 times. The two pulses were stationary as the light did not seem to change location. I continued to monitor that part of the sky but saw nothing unusal.
