Driving home at approximately 10:15 pm south on St. Laurent Blvd. Noticed bright light in sky at approximately 30 degree angle. Thought it was a plane. This was around Belfast Road. There were quite a few lights on it, more than a plane should have and it had a silver illumination on the body. As I drove closer to the light the perspective changed. I was seeing the bottom of it. Between Industrial Avenue and the turn at Russell Road, I watched the underside of whatever it was. There were a number of round lights that kept altering their pattern and colour. The first pattern I noticed was a diamond shape. They became more circular and constantly changing shape and colour. It was hovering over the National Museum of Science and Technology. I thought it might be some kind of art of science installation. I was stopped at a light to turn right where St. Laurent meets Russell Road. My angle now was 55 or 60 degrees to view it. It was stationary, just continuously blinking different colours and shapes. I tried to snap a quick picture before the light changed but it did not turn out. I continued driving towards my home trying to reconcile what I saw. As I live only a few kilometers away, I went outside when I got home but saw nothing. I researched the museum's website and they had nothing on which described what I saw. I have driven the route the last two nights around 900 pm but saw nothing.
