Sighting Details

About 4 years ago, perhaps in the late summer of 2010 at around 5:00 pm, I had just left the office building where I work in Orlando, Florida near the University of Central Florida. The entrance to my office building generally faces east (see Google map). I was walking across the parking lot toward my vehicle when I spotted a silver, metallic ball, roughly the size of a quarter held at arms length, travelling from north to south, approximately 200 feet off the ground, and at a speed of about 120 mph. It flew at a steady rate and made absolutely no noise. I cannot recall the wind conditions at the time, but I do recall it was clear and sunny that day. It took less than 10 seconds from the time I spotted it until it had disappeared from view by obstructions such as the office building and trees. When I first noticed the object, I did not think it was anything I could recognize and I knew immediately it was unusual. I have been interested in the UFO phenomenon for years but I have never seen one before or since this event. My reaction was strange because I just stood there in the parking lot and watched it go by. I did not have enough time to register what I was seeing and get the attention of other people in the parking lot. After the event, I looked around but oddly enough there was nobody else nearby who may have also seen the object. I am not sure why I waited so long to report it. For some reason I just put it off and then forgot about it. But I decided its better to report it late than not at all.
