Sighting Details

I heard the booming sounds of fireworks so I went outside to see them. They were too low/far away, so I just looked up in the sky to see the stars. At first I thought that the bright red/orange flashing ligts was a wayward firework, but there was no smoke and it moved like a plane at first. As it moved in my direction, it got real slow, but had no sound so I ruled out that it was a helicopter. My cat followed me outside so I picked him up to look at it. Then I thought it might be a blimp but there was no mass. It was shaped like a "top" and the center rotated around. Then suddenly it darted off to the east and vanished. I saw the stars behind it and there was no imprint or smoke after it disappeared. It was just gone! I waited for it to come back, but it didn't. After that my cat acted freaked out with big eyes and started running around like it was trying to hide! I was very happy to have finally seen that (although I probably have seen them before and not ackowledged it). I'm glad to know others saw it too, even though it seems that the other versions were 1 or more separate orbs, so maybe when I saw it they had all collected together. It was fun to watch. I'm looking forward the next show again! Please come back!
