Sighting Details

I and two friends were in Panama City Beach for a weekend. We drove to the south and east end of Panama City (of 1970)to the dunes there. We got our sleeping bags out and cooler and built a small campfire down between several tall dunes where we couldn't be seen. We had something to eat and then layed down on our backs looking at the stars directly above (I mean straight up). We were talking about various things, but were staring up all the time when all of a sudden one of the stars (or what we thought were stars) moved in a zig zag pattern and abruptly stopped and looked like a star again. The other one zig zagged eastward and disappeared toward the horizon. The speed and 90 degree turns were unreal. Nothing moves like that In light of the fact that I didn't believe in ufos at that time, these things I saw with my own eyes convinced me they were here. This was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. I remember thinking then how close we were from Pensicloa Naval Air Station, and they were probably watching that. I also remember thinking that's the best way to hide from space..."they just look like stars". We all jumped up when we saw this and were so excited about what we just saw. Later, I remember feeling very uneasy and even a little frightened about the posibilty they might come down and hover over us. I had a hard time going to sleep that night.
