Sighting Details

While driving home from work right as the sun was going down there is a large open field off the road that you can see a long way across. As I was driving past it a bright light just above the horizon caught my attention. At first I thought it must be a reflection on the clouds from the sun for it was really bright as it was setting. But that couldn't be it, there was too much space of clouds between the sun and the light or the other clouds would have had reflections on them as well. It was in an opening just in the edge of the clouds. I rolled down my window and snapped two pictures just as I was getting to the end of the open field. It was still there as I continued on. I didn't know what I had just seen but I knew it wasn't anything usual. When I got home just a few minutes later I immediately showed the pictures to my wife explaining what I had just seen. As she was looking at the pictures she said I wasn't going to believe it but she too had seen a bright light at the same approximate time. Because we live on a hill and our windows face the west, she said a bright light caught her attention too thru a silhouette of trees, it was long shaped just like in the pictures. She just assumed it was some sort of reflection off a limb or something playing tricks on her eyes. Upon viewing the pictures, when you zoom in on the light it definitely has a solid shape to it, kind of a fuzzy or reflective disc shape.
