6 orange glowing lights (MUCHH brighter than any airplane) in the night sky south-west of phoenix/metro area. first saw 2 next to each other, they dimmed out to black for a minute then came back on - then saw 3 more to the west of them, dimmed out to black for a minute, when re-lit, all 5 or 6 were in a horizontal line right next to each other. when lights are illuminated, they appear stationary. they will then dim to black and when re-appear (about a minute later) will have moved drastic distances - probably 20 miles or so. I would guess they are 30 miles to the southwest of my location in Waddell, AZ. multiple friends reported seeing the same thing on facebook. called 2 friends who work at luke airforce base and are were on duty during the event (about 5 miles west of my current location), and they had no knowledge of any military event taking place.
