My son told me to watch a large, unnaturally slow moving comet with a lot of smoke trailing it. The direction it headed was south. We first spotted it at about 7:25 pm in a store's parking lot. The comet was white and looked an inch wide and several inches long in the sky. During our drive home, he saw it change direction: It took a sharp, roughly 90 degree turn south. We temporarily lost sight of it because of trees. When we sighted it again three minutes had passed and an orb of light began to luminesce behind it and continued for approximately three seconds until it was as bright as a brilliantly glowing white star. It was so bright my son thought it was a supernova because it was still broad daylight. About ten seconds later it dimmed in the same amount of time as it earlier luminesced. Immediately after the light had faded away, my son said that he could just barely make out what appeared to him to be a circular, grey object from which the light came from. As if we weren't amazed enough, a second orb-light appeared in precisely the same manner: In intensity of light, size, and the amount of time it lasted as the first one. While these events were occurring, one big plane and two small planes were trailing the orbs. While the second light was still glowing, it came perilously near one of these aircraft, as if curious of its presence, before distancing very fast. At our house, we had a clear final view of the spectacle before it disappeared over the trees. We saw the comet being trailed by the orbs, which were now pulsating white yellow and a steady stream of aircraft following them.
