I went outside to watch the meteor shower on 5-24-14 at around 2:00am Eastern time. Saw a couple of meteors in that time, then around 2:20 or 2:30 I saw what looked to be a star brighter than any other in the area, than it slowly faded away. At first I thought it was my eyes adjusting to looking around in the sky at night, but then it appeared again just to the south of were I had first seen this object. It did this three more times always fading in and out in a different place in the same part of the sky and once it had a orange-red tint to it. This all occurred near the two stars above the Big Dippers tip, from my view of it. I found this to be really out of the normal for I have seen many of meteors in the sky before, and have watched the sky for years, but never have seen anything like this. And one more thing these lights did not appear to be in a straight line they were fading in and out in different places, one time it seemed to have moved backwards of were I had first saw it.
