Object Flight Path
We went out on our deck, which faces the backyard and is on the second floor. It was a clear evening, no clouds with a waning moon. I was looking at the Big Dipper when I noticed a small star, or what I thought was a star close to the "ladle" when it started to move across the sky. I pointed it out to my husband, asking if he thought it was a plane. It was so far up and no visible flashing lights, as a plane would have, so the consensus was it wasn't one. We watched the object move across the sky, from the northeast to the southeast. Also, the object moved too fast for a plane. We watched it progress across the sky for around three to four minutes, when it disappeared. I tried to see it through binoculars, but had lost sight of the object by the time I could get it into focus.
