Over One Mile
Object Flight Path
I was in the Navy aboard the USS Jason AR-8. We were miles off the coast of california, although the ship was berthed out of San Diego, CA. I was on port forward watch around 4am, when I noticed a white light above and in the distance appeared to get closer to earth. It first appeared like a star, but then grew larger upon approach. I alerted the starboard forward watch regarding what I thought I was seeing and he confirmed. Radar onboard did not detect anything, and as we were observing one red orb exited to the left and took off at a high rate of speed and disappeared off horizon. Moments later a second red orb took of from the right of white orb in same fashion. By this time the Captain, And all other officers where on deck with binoculars and I pointed out stationary white orb. As all where focusing on white orb, both red orbs returned and seemed to dock behind the white orb. The white orb then ascended from position until no longer visible.,
