Sighting Details

My girlfriend was in the shower and I was just straightening up before we settled into our living room to watch tv when I saw a bright object outside my window much more prominent than the dim looking stars. I took a snap of it from my phone. Then I grabbed my video camera stupid thing had no battery so I kept the viewfinder closed to conserve the battery but the zoom was off. I continued filming worthlessly without looking because I wanted to see everything with my own eyes . After about 2 minutes the light went out but I still saw the object very very faintly like trying to see the non lite up side of the crescent moon. The object didn't appear to be flair since it was just stationary and not falling. It wasn't a satellite since it was neither moving or as dim as a star. I was thinking it could have been a Chinese fire lantern possibly but we just had some major fires out here in San Diego so I'm really not sure it's just simply an unidentified object to me. I sure wish something more could have happened so I could better categorize it like floating or falling or zipping across the sky. It just stayed in one spot. In the photo you can see a bright dot among 2 other dots. The 2 other dots were mars and the bright star spica... According to google sky maps. The stars can be vaguely seen at 3:30 o'clock and about the 10:30o'clock I took the photo with my galaxy S4
