Approx 8:45 pm local time, while watching television, I noticed a red/orange pulsating light over the tree line to my south-east. At first I thought it was a Coast Guard Helicopter returning to Otis Air Force base, but the blinking/pulsating red/orange light did not look familiar. It was very bright and very solid in consistency. I went out side and heard NO noise at all--when these helicopters come overhead - you know it. I watched it continue from the south-east to the northwest for a good 4-5 minutes. Then the light started to get dimmer and dimmer until it basically started going in an "upward" direction almost straight above me and faded out to nothing. The whole time flashing/pulsating the same red/orange color. I had my wife join me at the door and see saw the same thing. I can not say I have seen anything like it before. I would like to know if any other sightings were reported in my area. Thank You Jeff Kettell
