Getting ready to leave for work, I looked up and saw a glowing blue cigar-shaped object hovering in the sky. Sky was clear, cresent moon, and I believe Venus (to the left of the moon) were visible. A low humming noise was what brought my attention to it. I snapped a few zoomed in pics with my blackberry and rushed inside to wake my wife so she could see it. Upon return, the object was gone. Sky was still clear, and the humming noise had gone.
