I photographed these pictures the night of January 18th 20014, in Sweeny TX. I have been seeing this light for a while (about a year) and just dismissed it as a planet or star. When seen, it has always been east of my location, however, for the first time last night it was due south of me. While looking at it with the naked eye it appears to move. The photo captures the movement of the light. Recently Ive noticed a second but smaller light and, as such, have become more curious about what this may be. On clear nights the lights can be seen most nights. Does anyone have an explanation of what this is or has there been additional observations made of this phenomenon?
