On 6-14-2012 at about 9:50 pm-while driving north from Adrian Michigan to Tipton, MI. Small thin clouds were present in the sky as we drove. My wife and I both saw a bright blue/green streak of light in the NNE sky at about a 45 degree angle above the horizon. The streak followed a round object with a notable ring surrounding the object (much like the ring or aura surrounding the moon on a cloudy night). While driving, a tree crossed between us and the object. Upon passing the tree the object had disappeared. All of this occurred while my wife was speaking to her mother on the phone. Attached is a simplified rendering of what we saw.
