Over One Mile
Object Flight Path
Stationary,Hovering then path,Path with directional change,Path then hovering
My 13 year old picked up her 8 year old sister from school. She is released at 2:30, and she goes to the elementary school immediately after to wait for them to be dismissed. She first spotted the object(s) while walking to the elementary school with three other people. All witnesses apparently thought they were looking at balloons at first. The object(s) began as three separate objects, all metallic and reflecting sunlight from the top, while dark/black metallic on the bottom.
The object(s) began very far apart and were sphere shaped, and then they moved very close together and formed a triangle formation but still separate objects. They hovered for a minute or two and then they began slowly ascending.
The object that was the front point of the triangle moved down/backwards and the objects formed a line and became square shaped. The two on the sides rotated around the one in the middle to change directions, the object on the left was now on the top still in a line formation. They then hovered again for a minute or so. They slowly started going up until they became aspirin size. Then the middle and the bottom object shot up and the third object stayed there for at LEAST five minutes. She then turned to see her sister exit the building and when she turned back to look again the last object was gone.
The three boys that were with her saw the third one shoot upward, but they said it moved in a spiral motion as it moved upward, then it disappeared.
While we can clearly see the great salt lake from our home, as well as from both schools, these objects were several miles away while being observed.
It may also be worth noting that while I (her mother) did not see these objects, I did witness a man standing on the sidewalk with binoculars looking toward the Great Salt Lake while I, unfortunately, was driving in the opposite direction!!
