My son and i were walking our dogs approximately 10:30 pm on 9/14/13. As we rounded a ccrner and looked to the NW we saw three glowing red lights, each about the size and brightness of a bright star, but they had a solid glow and did not twinkle. They were approx. 30 degrees off the horizon, and in a triangle formation seperated by approx 20 degrees from left to right. It was not clear if they were moving or not. Both of our immediiate reactions were what in the heck were we looking at - it was certainly unlike anything we had seen before. We both stopped and reached for our cell phone cameras. My son was able to take one photo, in which the lights are visible. We started running down the street to the top of a small hill to see if we could get a better view, but the lights disappeared in under 1 minute.
