Coming home from Eagle River, we pulled up in front of our house. Pitch black cloudless sky, very clearly 5+ red lights, unlike any seen before. In line, 1 fell behind, 1 hovered waiting and they both caught up w/the others. These were slow moving. At first my husband and I thought helicopters because they seemed able to stop in mid air. There was no sound of helicopters (which we often see and always hear). They seemed to have come over the mountains and were crossing SW (as far as I could tell). It was completely open sky and we could see nothing in the sky except these small, solid red/orange lights. One per craft. The lights were about the size I would see on a helicopter, but a little smaller, solid, and only one small light. The lights went over the houses out of view after 1-2 minutes. Very Cool.
