I want the UFO map to return to where I last searched not the most recent UFO sighting.

We have an option to help you out. Simply click the 'Change Map Options' icon on the widget in the upper left hand corner of the UFO map. This will expand a dialog box with options for the UFO map, one of those options being 'Return to the previous location when the UFO map loads' (it's under the advanced heading). Click the checkbox next to this option and the UFO map will always return to the last location you were searching. To disable this option and defer to seeing the location of the latest UFO sighting simple uncheck the box.

Why do some images show up as 'Large Image - Click to View'?

Why do some reports mention images or videos, but there are none present?

This can happen for a number of reasons. Images and videos are submitted by the public, sometimes it's as simple as them forgetting to attach the image or video, other times the image or video may be corrupt or in a non-standard format. If a report mentions missing images or video please feel free to add a comment to the bottom of the UFO sighting detail and we will attempt to find it.
